Latest statement: AETE and COVID-19

The AETE board is taking the current COVID-19 situation very seriously and we will continue to closely monitor the situation and issue regular updates to our members. There are currently no plans to postpone or cancel the AETE meeting on 2020. However, the Board of the AETE are meeting regularly to discuss this fast paced situation and will make a decision about the meeting by April 22. Any decision that we make will be based on the best current guidance from various sources including the public health advice in Ireland. However, if the current global situation remains as it is currently, or worsens, then we must accept recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and other organizations to postpone or cancel the meeting.

Due to this ongoing uncertainty the AETE board does advise you to wait to register and to not book flights or make any other travel arrangements at this moment!

Even if our annual meeting is cancelled or postponed, all abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in the Journal of Animal Reproduction, the proceeding book of the congress and on the AETE website. We are also in the process of investigating online alternatives for abstract and poster presentations. For this reason we strongly encourage to submit your work.
