Are you passionate about reproductive biology and biotechnological innovation? Join a dynamic research group in an exciting new PhD project at the University of Sassari, located in the beautiful island of Sardinia, Italy.
Research Project Title:
Key Determinants of Oocyte Competence in Sheep: Morphostructural, Molecular, and Functional Analyses for the Optimization of Reproductive Performance
This project aims to identify and characterize new structural and molecular determinants associated with oocyte competence in sheep. Through an integrated approach based on advanced imaging techniques, gene regulation analysis, and functional assessments of both the oocyte and the preimplantation embryo, the goal is to identify predictive biomarkers of oocyte competence. The results will contribute to the improvement of
reproductive biotechnologies in livestock and may also offer valuable insights for applications in human reproductive medicine.
